A charming, luxury retreat

Surrounded by unspoilt scenery waiting to be explored

7 nights from £715 per person

Hotel Brancamaria is perfectly positioned close to some absolutely stunning sandy beaches, many of which can only be accessed on foot or by boat, it is also only a short hop into the nearby town of Cala Gonone with its pretty pastel coloured buildings and its long promenade with a good selection of low key bars and restaurants.

Not so long ago, this unspoilt region was only accessible by sea, until a tunnel was bored through the mountain with a steep winding road down to the coast, as you exit the tunnel, the sheer beauty of the dramatic coastline is utterly breathtaking.

The Brancamaria has 66 contemporary rooms, many with stunning sea views, others overlook the swimming pool or have lovely views of the the surrounding mountains.  Each comfortable room is furnished to a high standard and has a French balcony, and en-suite bathroom with shower.

There is a huge inviting swimming pool with plenty of comfy sunbeds, and a lovely restaurant, Le Terazza, offering Sardinian specialities as well many tasty Mediterranean dishes, a delightful place to sample the wonderful local cuisine whilst gazing out over the bay.

There is a regular shuttle service into Cala Gonone throughout the day where aside from the lovely little restaurants and shops, there are also two lovely beaches at either end of the promenade.  There are plenty of other beaches to visit, such as Cala Sisine and Cala Luna with their crystal clear waters, ideal for snorkelling, or perhaps hire a little boat to explore this stunning unspoilt region.

We Recommend An excursion to the Grotta del Bue Marino, one of Italy's most beautiful and famous caves

There is a large swimming pool, excellent restaurant, bar and lounge.  Breakfast is a continental buffet and evening evening meals are either buffet or table service; at the discretion of the hotel management.

A complimentary shuttle service runs to Cala Gonone town, 3 departures in the morning and afternoon and also in the evenings (small charge for evening shuttle payable locally).

There is free wifi access available in the lobby and bar area.
